Already found a bug in MyProfile.template in the avatar choice section. (For the javascript to function properly it needs both an id and a name but name in this situation is a deprecated attribute. http://yabb261.yabbforumsoftware.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl Registration uses email verification. Once we have some members signed up over there, I can allow people access to the Admin Center to test functions there - some functions won't be in the SVN yet as we'll be testing things before they go there. (The first one is the email setup test.) Also some things can only be tested properly with multiple admins and I plan to get started on some of those later this week. What happened is we got a bit ahead of ourselves in this section with mods and templates and that makes it hard to test the mainline code. Perfection is not possible. Edited: I suspect it was the advanced email checker - it checks with the email domain to verify the domain exists and (depending on the email server) checks on whether not the email address exists on that domain. Some mail servers are VERY slow in responding. Perfection is not possible. Excellence, however, is excellent. WWW IP Logged

Validating email provider... Saving user information... Notifying Admins... Simple explanation as the steps are done so if the process takes time, the user does not think the forum has crashed and he leaves or hits the back or reload button. If it did not take more than 15 seconds, I'd say it would not be an issue. But people are impatient on the Net these days. Florida Classics and Muscle Car Automotive Forum Administrator WWW IP Logged
