Either the $htmldir value is not properly set in Paths.pm OR you don't have a Smilies folder in yabbfiles (or whatever you may have named the yabbfiles folder) Note that Smilies is capitalized.

@rucola - your related post seems to have disappeared - but I'm betting you have a misspelling in Paths.pm as I have to wonder about 'sgibin /../" ? Perl scripts are normally in the 'cgi-bin' and '../' is normally found in html links to denote 'go up one directory level'
