Ok, I checked out your website. It's not the forum, it's not the browser, it's the server. You have to switch from http to https with the admin tool of the server (Plesk, cPanel) or whatever you are using.

Unfortunately, I don't know the Brave browser and can't say what it can or can't do.

Ok, let me play with cPanel and see how it goes.

It's always difficult to answer such questions if you don't know which server is being used (virtual or dedicated). With a dedicated server you have to take care of the settings yourself (see screener). Install Firefox and see if your site is delivered in https. If you can force https with the Brave browser, that doesn't mean your members can too. It still shows me as not secure with Firefox. Nor can security be enforced. You can usually find the setting under Domain>Settings>Security. You will also get the certificate here. No security without the certificate. As said, the server has to deliver the security over port 443 and it doesn't.

I'm able to post with Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Waterfox. I would assume other people can too. Just can't post with the switch in Brave when I turn off HTTPS

The forum breaks in Firefox and Waterfox. I didn't test the other browsers

With a dedicated one you have to make the settings yourself, with a virtual one your provider is responsible for it. Then the setting for it will probably not exist either. A certificate is definitely not visible. I checked your site. By the way, it affects not only the forum, but your entire website. You don't write a word about it. You can tinker around on your website and forum as much as you want, it won't do any good. Your pages remain insecure. This can only be changed on the server. It's not YaBB's fault. Since I don't know cPanel, I don't know if you can even request a certificate. With a dedicated server I can do that for you, with a virtual one only the provider can request a certificate. The server operator certainly has a certificate, your websites don't. You have to request that yourself. I can do that for you, but I need access to the admin panel. you still don't get it. Waterfox offers you a forced https here. This is not real https. That must come from your server and not from the browser. Your pages are still insecure (I can check anytime) and that's not a problem for YaBB.

Is there another area in cPanel where I can plug in the redirect info?

Logging back in wasn't a problem, I just used my info.

@Ron - since you were able to login after setting the force https in cPanel, I assume the other issues you had when trying to hand edit .htaccess are no longer issues?

Assuming everything is working right, you don't need the redirect - the force https button should be all you needed to do. (It's just that the cPanel instructions weren't very clear.)

Just installed Waterfox to see how it behaves here.

However, it didn't save the passwords I asked it to.
