As a rule, Apache has set a minimum time of 300 seconds, which should be enough. If not, then simply increase the server time. 	I tweaked the code a tiny bit and I didn't get a repeat of the timeout - it was on the testbed server so it's possible the machine was just running slow - plus the file rebuild worked just fine, so I'm not sure exactly what happened. I'll do the German Mods in the morning (for me).
