I'm working on this one and have a question of those who are running it:

What the heck is 'Vonarable' supposed to mean? It's not a word in English that I can find and Google guesses it should be 'Vulnerable'  and the German translation in the German Language file is 'genervt' which supposedly means 'annoyed' or vexed' even though there's a 'Vexed' already in the language list.

And the graphic doesn't look annoyed to me. 

The misspelling in English caught my eye.

"Verletzbarkeit" looks like a good translation to me. I think we can also go with css style 'buttons' for this one so it will work with other languages as well.

I managed to dump over 800 lines of code, too.

Here's the first version of Member Moods for 2.6.0
Corrected some misspellings, moved the list of Moods into Mood.lng so all the language calls and graphic calls come from the same list.

I'm working on getting the Mod to use a css styled graphics so we don't need buttons for each language - but so far the javascript button preview isn't cooperating.

The other option is to use just the faces for the mood graphic with the name in a title so it pops up in the proper language.

@Pyragony - The German and German Du files have lots of duplicates and I'm not sure the dropdown lists are being alphabetized properly.

Okay, it works now in English, in German not. I think I know where the error is. You need not look for it, I think he's probably faster. I will then check all the buttons and assign them properly when they should be wrong.

By the way, I've already done a lot of skins.

Where do you think the error is in the German? The alphabetization? Right now it's using the Perl default sort to alphabetize the list but I think there are language localization routines that might do the trick. (Or if you alphabetize the German %moodlist once you're happy with the translations maybe we can get rid of the Perl sort.)

(Or did I mess up something in Mood.lng?)

Actually, the proper place to fix it IS in the code (I was testing on a case insensitive server and didn't catch the mismatch. And oddly enough, that mismatch is in the original mod - weird.  )

However, I'll make the change in the code when and if I get css-based Mood buttons working.

Just a report ... installed this tonight. For the most part it went smoothly. Two issues installing, both on the same step ... spacing was messed up, and since the zodiac thing has been added to the YaBB build, it needs to be added to the template search and replace.

For the most part it works smoothly. I just have one two questions (not a big deal). Why are we asked if we want to allow users to choose their mood? If you don't, why install the mod? And why are all the mood settings on one page ... except the 'allow users to choose mood' bit, which is on a separate page.

I spent thirty minutes looking for what went wrong with the upload, until I noticed Dandello's note about allowing users to set mood.

Anyway, always enjoyed this one, and have always kind of nudged for it's updating, so I am glad to see it's quick availability for this version!

(And yes, step 20 is one of those steps that usually needs to be adjusted by each person depending on which mods they have installed. But it is usually set up so that if it is the only mod, it will install straight away, so the zodiac and spacing issues still need to be taken care of, eventually.)

I understand ... and I was not trying to push or anything, just mentioning my current experience with installing it, and gentle reminder of not 100% there, yet. (But it is a very *nice* 99%.  )
