Completely Okay.
Will make the mod tomorrow, make the translation and then report.

Thanks Dandello, you do not have to run now.
It is only the German legal situation. A forum operator is liable for everything written in the forum. It can only hold out or excuse itself, if the member is given sufficient time to read the rules and confirm them. I had already here some slight difficulties with the German law and had to delete directories. With the size of my board, I just can not control everything. I usually ask XTC about such things, but he just does not have time. Maybe he has more time in winter. He asks you to adjust his mods as well.

I got a 'confirm you have read this' link working for 2.6. I'll see if I can put a timer on the link. If I can get that done tomorrow, I'll pack up the mod for you before the weekend - maybe.

I've looked at the Mod and I'm not seeing any simple way to put a timer or a button into the must-view-topic topic. It's simply a topic in the announcements board with an intercept. But I'll keep thinking about it.

Maybe you can get by with just a 'have read' button with the 'has read' as a time entry in their vars file. I have to think on a mechanics for a bit.

@ Dandello

To this mod I have a big request. Is it possible for the new member to have a time set by the admin on this page and install a button where he has to confirm what he has read. On the first login they are directed to this page, but they simply click away without reading it. I have thereby considerable breaches of the board rules. This almost brought me before the judges. But if I determine a time that is sufficient to read the rules and then a button with which he confirms that he has read, I am out of the affair. This is the German legal situation.

With some PhP-Boards, there is already.
