I'm just saying that the zip version of Ratings here now isn't going to be the final one. So you might want to wait unless you really need the translations for the current one.

BINGO - the 2.1 version over on BoardMod has German, German Du, and Russian translations with it.

I didn't find any translations for 2.4 either and anything Jet Li was hosting is gone. But XTC also pointed out that the 2.4 version had issues, so I've working from the 2.1 version.

So don't spend any time on translating this one yet as it's not done.

I think we're talking past each other. Carsten has ratings then written or adapted for YaBB 2.4. There was a German translation. I think that has made then still jetli and that was probably on its server. On Page Carstens it is certainly not to be found.

I don't think there was a German translation for this one. (And the version I'm working on is quite a ways from being satisfactory so I wouldn't worry about a translation just yet.)

XTC was correct - MF-B's 2.1 version was the better one to start from.

Just installed the 2.1 version on a virgin 2.1 testboard. It still isn't exactly intuitive (Or maybe it's just that there are no instructions.)

Ratings has to be completely rewritten from the original original mod. Even when it installs properly, it doesn't behave in a logical manner.

Just passing on word, this does not currently install on 2.6.11.

Step 8 fails because it has not been adjusted to one of the new mod hooks, yet.

Step 27, the last step, fails, because it has nothing to search for.

Yeah - I'm not happy with it - plus the version it's adapted from is a royal pain to use on the version of YaBB it was written for and some of the functions seem to not work - or if they do I haven't figured out how to make them work.

I'll take another look at the one you sent.
