That position should have been added to Settings.pl for you.

It's a 'staff' position like gmod or admin so can't be added from within YaBB. It's done that way as 'staff' pemissions override all other permissions.

(And 'override' in the instructions should have been 'Override'.)

In the instructions it reads:
In Member Profile -> Admin Edit -> assign the member to the 'override' position.
Is this a position I create?

Two minor things:

1) Sources/Load.pl
     - is missing in the instructions

2) In the Admin Center -> ManageBoards -> Forum Controls -> Boards -> Board to be edited -> Check the Override box.
     - add the highlighted text?

This mod adds allows Admins assign members to a hidden group that can be banned from specific boards.

Apply the mod and upload (in ASCII mode):

In the Admin Center -> ManageBoards -> Forum Controls -> Boards -> Check the Override box.
In Member Profile -> Admin Edit -> assign the member to the 'override' position. This is a non-visible position and will not affect the appearance of their membership on other groups EXCEPT that they cannot be also be an Administrator or a Global Moderator.
