It is possible, but not easy. I reworked a forum some time ago. Unfortunately, the Unix timestep was not converted. The old forums still work with the date. YYYY.MM.DD. The new forums use the ten-digit Unix timestep. So a lot of rework is necessary. Since this forum is very large, it is a lot of work. Here is the forum in question:
The timestep has to be done manually, however, otherwise all members are shown as ex-members.
Give me the link to your forum and I'll take a quick look at it.

So my host decided to migrate my site to a new server and subsequently broke it, I think because of a PERL version. It has been running great since 2009 (yes, 15 years) and I am sure it was version 1.x Gold if that means anything.
Can I upgrade to a later (current?) version and keep all the members and posts - as you can imagine, there are A LOT!!
Thanks and any step by step guides would be a great help
