Inspired by the "IRC Mod" from 'Shoeb Omar' ... i have generate a completely new "ChatIRC Mod"
For this Mod i use a modified "PJIRC" (www.pjirc.com) Java-based Webchat Client Software (Free and open source).

WARNING: This mod requires users to have a current version of Java running on the computer and make security modifications to that computer.

For Windows users (and others) this may also require adding the domain of the forum using this mod to their 'safe' list under Control Panel -> Java -> Security

Sorry, but this one looks to be beyond my paygrade.

The big problem - the irc servers appear to use Java and most modern OSs and browsers block Java or require users to jump through major hoops to get it to work. (And I'm talking MAJOR hoops - as in installing browser add-ons, changing browser and OS security settings, adding domains and/or IP addresses to 'safe to ignore certificate/security issues' lists.)
