	I got the mod installed on my 1.4 test so I can see what it does. Now I have to figure out how to get it to do the same thing in 2.6. (For those who don't know, Seemly Smilies allows an admin to have different banks of Smilies that only appear in the Post window on specific days - like Christmas Smilies for the Xmas season.)

	Update: I have a version of Seemly Smilies for 2.6.0. However, I suspect there was a problem in the original with leap years. I'm also curious as to how it behaves in Display in 1.4 and 2.6 when 'todays' date changes to where Seemly Smilies isn't active.

	And here it is - the first iteration for 2.6.0 SeemlySmilie for YaBB 2.6.0 Version : 0.2 Installation ------------ 1) Modify YaBB files using BoardMod or manually. 2) Upload modified files to your server in ASCII mode. 3) Upload SeemlySmiliesSet.pm and SeemlySmilies.pm to their relevant directories in ASCII mode. 4) Upload nosmilie.gif to yabbfiles/ModImages, create a folder named 'Seemly' in ModImages and upload your folders containing your smiley sets into 'yabbfiles/ModImages/Seemly'. 5) Enable Seemly Smilies from Smiley Control Center (You can also enable Seemly Smilie for Message Icons as well.) 6) Set alternate Smiley sets for specific dates in Seemly Smilies Control Center. 	Except for shocked - as far back as 2.1 it's been checked lower-case. Obviously at some point somebody decided that :o and :O should render the same. Possibly for backwards compatability for some very early version of YaBB :

	OK, I have been begging for this mod to return for ten years or more, so I guess I better get my butt in gear and set up a fully 2.6 test board and help in the testing of it! My forums have a smiley set made up of about 50 smilies. I have created those 50 smileys in all the major sets that I make use of. Does Seemly manage to support this? If not, may I suggest a possible way that it could?

	Seemly Smilies is currently limited to the smilies you see below the posting box. (The ones listed as Smilies in YaBBC.pm.) Adding more functions to the mod is on my ever growing list of things to do. (Even with just 17 Smilies, I think it would be nice to have users see the special smilies in posts even outside the assigned time.)

	OK, I installed the YaBB 2.6.0 package off the web site, and as noted elsewhere, the installation was remarkably smooth. The problem is, it looks like the mods may not be for 2.6.0, but perhaps for a svn version of the forum. (Or somewhere I got a pre-release version of 2.6.0 rather than the final one, maybe.) Steps 9 and 13, I believe, are both looking for things that do not exist in the release package. Step 13, for example, is looking in micon.def for a language call, yet there is no language call in the file I have. Where do I find the latest build? And do I just want to load all the files over the top of what I already have installed? Please don't misunderstand ... this is not a complaint, I just need to make sure I have the right version to work on.
