It seems to work except for the dynamic clock that isn't picking up on the correct time offset. (New York is coming in at +4 hrs from my TZ and it should be +3.) Edited: I think I have it working now - but more testing would be good. Perfection is not possible. Excellence, however, is excellent. WWW IP Logged

I have to double check whether ot not there are any odd places outside of DateTime.pm that have code to format time or are trying to access time offset variables that aren't there any more. The database that ships with DateTime::TimeZone is the 'official one' but getting the country names to render required yet another Perl Module. (Locale::Country - which ships with newer versions of Perl.) The next step is to simplify the code I wrote and put in checkers so the TZ will default to UTC if the needed modules aren't installed. (Or make it an Admin choice which MAY be easier - easier to test at least. :) Perfection is not possible. Excellence, however, is excellent. WWW IP Logged

Got some 'file bomb's refactored (they were coded much the same way as the section that was suseptable to emptying the vars files). At this moment, TZ selection is disabled. I'll turn it back on in a bit. Edited: The Event Calendar is messed if the TZ is not UTC. « Last Edit: Apr 8th, 2014 at 10:48pm by Dandello » Perfection is not possible.
